Admission Requirments:

Entry to Advanced Diploma study at EQUALS requires:

Applicants must show adequate evidence of competency in communication skills in their pre-enrolment LLN testing. In particular, applicants need to be able to read, comprehend, interpret, apply, write and share information to standards that will ensure safe working capacity.

Students may be required to show evidence of:

1. Valid DCSI clearances (x 3 - Aged, Vulnerable, Working with Children); and/or National Police Clearance
2. Current and valid First Aid, if required by workplace/simulated work project; and
3. Be physically fit to meet industry requirements.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English Language proficiency requirements are applicable to international students and in addition to academic or special entry requirements noted in the Admission Pathway section.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - Academic: 5.5 Academic (min 5.0 in any band). Some courses require a score of 6.0 (overall band score) or higher.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 60 (with min 18 in writing)

Pearson Test of English (PTE): 50 (with no sub-score <42)

Cambridge English Scale Score (from 2015): 169 (with no sub-score <162)

OET : Pass C, D
