Where an applicant does not meet these requirements, Aviation Australia may consider sufficient relevant work experience (documented via a resume and referees) and/or a successfully completed higher level qualification that demonstrates academic suitability. Minimum of 17 years of age:Applicants under the age of 18 may be accepted where it is demonstrated they will be under approved guardianship arrangements. This arrangement requires the approval of the Department of Home Affairs.
