Admission Requirments:

Admission to Graduate Certificate courses at the University of Tasmania normally requires the prior completion of an AQF7 (or equivalent) undergraduate degree. Specific requirements for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Economic Geology are as follows:(i) a Bachelor of Science/Applied Science majoring in geoscience, or(ii) a minimum of two years' employment as a geoscientist in the minerals industry or government.To demonstrate eligibility for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Economic Geology, applicants must provide a copy of their undergraduate academic transcript/s. Where seeking entry partly or solely based on an applicant's previous professional experience, a curriculum vitae and the names and contact details for two professional referees should be provided.

IELTS (Academic) - 6.0 (no individual band less than 6.0)

TOEFL (iBT) 72 (no skill below: Reading 16; Listening 16; Speaking 18; Writing 22)

PTE Academic 50 with no score lower than 50
