There are no formal entry requirements set by the Training Package for this course however for admission Yorke requires the following evidence:

18 years old and above

have a current Working with Children Check or apply and receive one within term 1 of the course (work placement begins in term 2)

current Police check to undertake work placement

You must have completed the following 11 units as part of a CHC30113 - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent through Credit transfer or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) arrangements to enter this program:

1. CHCDIV002 Promote Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultural safety Core - Enter with a credit
2. CHCECE001 Develop cultural competence Core - Enter with a credit
3. CHCECE002 Ensure the health and safety of children Core - Enter with a credit
