The five year subclass 870 Sponsored Parent (Temporary) visa allows eligible parents to remain in Australia up to five years without the need of departing and renew their status. This Visa is a multi-entry visa that provides multiple entries for a period up to 5 years. Applicants will be able to apply for this visa on 17 April 2019. Charges Sponsorship application: $420 Visa application charge: $5,000 for 3 years duration, $10,000 for five years duration The visa application charge is payable in two instalments, with one payment at time of application and the remainder paid prior to visa grant. Work rights Visa holders will generally be subject to a “no work” condition.
