This move aligns with the Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan, which sets a course for clean, affordable, and reliable power for future generations.
he shift towards renewable energy is generating numerous job opportunities, increasing the demand for professionals like project managers, engineers, tradespeople, and technicians. These roles are essential as Queensland aims to achieve 80% renewable energy by 2035.
Skilled workers from overseas who meet Migration Queensland's basic criteria are eligible for priority visa processing if they:- Occupation: Have a positive skills assessment for a key occupation in the energy sector.
- Work Experience: Have worked in their nominated occupation, or a closely related field, within the energy industry for at least 3 years.
